Sometimes support raising obstacles don’t have as much to do with fundraising skills as it does with life management skills. Little things like procrastination, emotional conflicts with people, not knowing how to control our time nibble away our capacity for staying on top of our fundraising. And sometimes we are too hard on ourselves, but the problem is with disguised bad habits in life and time management. As one who has been nibbled by ducks, I speak from experience. But these habits can be changed and it won’t take long!

Scott Morton serves as International Funding Coach for The Navigators. For fourteen years, he led Navigator campus and marketplace ministries, in which he worked with students, business people, and missionaries both stateside and overseas. Then, for more than 12 years he served as Vice President of The Navigators US Development Ministry. Scott enjoys helping people grow in their spiritual journeys through small-group Bible studies and one-on-one mentoring, he also loves bird watching. He has written numerous articles for Discipleship Journal and is author of Funding Your Ministry--Whether You're Gifted or Not (Navpress) and other books.
