Scott Morton: False Theologies in Personal Support Raising

It’s inevitable that your new staff members will come into support raising with some convictions that are false according to scripture. Scott Morton will explain what some of the more common false theologies are and how to coach staff with Biblical encouragement. Scott will also address strategies that are not efficient or effective when personal support raising.

Scott Morton serves as International Funding Coach for The Navigators. For fourteen years, he led Navigator campus and marketplace ministries, in which he worked with students, business people, and missionaries both stateside and overseas. Then, for more than 12 years he served as Vice President of The Navigators US Development Ministry. Scott enjoys helping people grow in their spiritual journeys through small-group Bible studies and one-on-one mentoring, he also loves bird watching. He has written numerous articles for Discipleship Journal and is author of Funding Your Ministry--Whether You're Gifted or Not (Navpress) and other books.
