SRS Network Memberships

Is this membership an organizational or individual membership?

The SRS Network Membership is an individual membership. Only the individual who registers will have access to all the benefits. There are some resources/benefits that can be shared and some that when used can benefit the organization as a whole.

What are the benefits I have access to as an SRS Network Member?

  • Access to the live monthly SRS Webinars where you receive training beyond Bootcamp to help coach your staff, live Q&A, updates about new SRS benefits and access to our webinar archive.
  • Access to The Catapult Series which is a library of 250+ videos that are 3-5 min. long on support raising topics.
  • Access to the SRS Support Raising Survey that we administer and then debrief the results with you which will help you get a pulse on your staff’s support raising health.
  • Access to the online course SRS Foundations which is essentially the online preparation for SRS Bootcamps. It can be used two different ways: for new staff training as the online training component which is combined with an organization’s live in-house training or it can used as a refresher training for veteran staff.
  • Access to a coaching resource called Track My Staff where you can set up a classroom and monitor your staff’s preparation work if they are attending a public SRS Bootcamp.
  • Access to the private SRS Facebook group for SRS Network Members only where you can collaborate with other trainers, coaches and leaders who are part of the SRS Network.

  • More resources, tools and benefits are being developed to better serve our SRS Network Members.

What resources (that I have access to as an SRS Network Member) can I share? With whom am I allowed to share them with?

Resources that can benefit your organization: SRS Catapult Series videos, SRS Support Raising Survey, SRS Foundations, SRS Track My Staff, SRS Coaching Guide, downloadable documents. Catapult Series videos: Only you have access to the library as an SRS Network Member, but feel free to send individual links to your staff members who may benefit from them throughout their support raising journey. What happens if I can’t make it to a live SRS Webinar?

All SRS Webinars are recorded and posted (along with presentation notes) to the webinar archive within a few days of the live webinar. Feel free to watch them whenever is most convenient to you.

I have leadership in my organization that would benefit from participating in one of the live webinars coming up. Do you have options for them to be a one-time guest?

Your leadership may sit with you in the same room while you participate in the SRS Webinar. We ask that you do not share your login credentials to the SRS Network with anyone. If someone in your organization would like to participate in the live SRS Webinar, please have them register for the SRS Network.

Can I share the Catapult Series with my organization?

The SRS Catapult Series library is a benefit for you as the SRS Network Member. You may, however, send out individual links to staff members that may benefit from individual videos! Feel free to share the videos with only staff members from your organization.

What is the SRS Support Raising Survey?

The SRS Support Raising Survey is a survey that we administer for SRS Network Members and their organizations to help them get a pulse on your staff’s support raising health. The survey asks questions in various support raising areas such as current status, financial and emotional health, training and accountability, policies and expectations, and more. After the survey closes, you will be able to analyze the results for acute analysis by filtering responses from new vs veteran staff, men vs women, ethnicity, or get as detailed as you want with multiple filters. SRS will also schedule a one-hour phone call with you to debrief your findings and help provide council and guidance for your organization.

What does it cost to set up an SRS Support Raising Survey for my organization and when can I schedule one?

There is no additional cost required. SRS Network Members can set up a survey whenever it is convenient for them and as often as they like. Some organizations do a survey yearly so they can compare results year-to-year to see their progress in the support raising health of their staff.

What is the difference between SRS Foundations Classrooms and Track My Staff Classrooms?

SRS Foundations is essentially the preparation work for SRS Bootcamp. We decided to make this course available to Network Members, so that they can use it for their new staff to accompany their own in-house live support raising training. They may also use it for veterans staff as a refresher course. SRS Foundations is not a complete online support raising training course, but more of a kick start or preparation course. When an SRS Network sets up an SRS Foundations classroom, their staff will register for the course for $39. The SRS Network Member is responsible for ensuring that their staff completes the course. SRS Track My Staff Classrooms are for Network Members whose organization uses public SRS Bootcamps as their primary source for support raising for their staff. A Network Member can set up a Track My Staff Classroom and request to track their staff members Bootcamp preparation work online to ensure that they complete the course before attending so that they can get the most out of SRS Bootcamp.

Does everyone in my organization receive the discount when registering to the Support Raising Leaders Conference?

Since the SRS Network Membership is an individual membership, only those who have registered as an SRS Network Member will receive the discount to the Support Raising Leaders Conference. All other staff members in your organization may not receive the discount to the Support Raising Leaders conference.

How can I host my own in-house SRS Bootcamp?

If you meet the requirements, register for SRS Facilitator Training and register for your SRS Facilitator Membership. You become certified as an SRS Facilitator by attending an SRS Facilitator Training and by paying for your membership. We will then setup a custom registration page for your staff on our SRS website for your future in-house SRS Bootcamps and send you the Bootcamp in a Box with all the materials you need.

Can anyone become a certified trained SRS Facilitator?

You must meet three requirements to qualified as an SRS Facilitator:
  1. Must have fully prepared and participated in a past SRS Bootcamp in its current form (2014 or later)
  2. Must be currently living and ministering on personally raised support (does not receive a salary from organization)
  3. Must be approved to become an SRS Facilitator by the leadership in their organization.
If you meet those requirements, then you can register for Facilitator Training and your Facilitator Membership.

What does it cost to become a certified SRS Facilitator?

Your Facilitator Membership, has an annual membership cost of $1100 for the first trainer, and $750 for each additional trainer in an organization. There is no additional cost to attend the SRS Facilitator Training to become a certified SRS Bootcamp Facilitator or to attend a public SRS Bootcamp every 18 months or the Support Raising Leaders Conference to maintain certification.

When does the annual agreement start and stop?

The annual agreement starts whenever you register for your membership, sign the SRS Partnership Agreement and we receive your membership dues. If you chose to have your memberships fees invoiced to you, your account will not be setup until those funds are received. For Facilitators, it is best to start their annual membership at least 4 months before their first in-house SRS Bootcamp, so that they have time to attend Facilitator Training, prepare, setup the registration pages on the SRS website, and allow their staff time to register and prepare.

SRS Facilitator Memberships

What does the SRS Facilitator Membership fees go toward?

Most of the staff that support SRS raise their own support, so that is how we are able to keep our costs so low. The $1100 annual membership dues for the first trainer and $750 for additional trainers give you:
    1. Access to all SRS Network benefits ($149 value)
    2. Registration for Facilitator Training- also includes 6 meals
    3. Registration to the Support Raising Leaders Conference for maintaining certification ($399+)
    4. Registration for public Bootcamps every 18 months for maintaining certification- also includes 3 meals ($399 value every 18 months)
    5. Ability to host in-house SRS Bootcamps for your staff at a discounted rate anytime as many times whenever is most convenient for your organization (after attending training and if certification is maintained)
    6. Bootcamp in a Box materials for all certified SRS Bootcamp Facilitators. This includes a new Facilitator’s Guide about every 18 months, large group and small group materials, and a set of participant materials.
    7. Research and development of new resources your ministry will have access to
    8. Development of resources to train global workers in other languages and cultural contexts.

As a certified SRS Facilitator, what additional costs can I expect in order to host our in-house SRS Bootcamp?

Participants of your in-house SRS Bootcamp pay $100 for individuals and $170 for couples through your customized SRS registration page on our website, and your organization will be invoiced $25 per person when materials for your in-house Bootcamp are shipped to you. Invoices must be paid within 30 days after your SRS Bootcamp.

What is required to maintain my Facilitator certification?

To maintain certification for your SRS Facilitator Membership, you must sign the 12-month SRS Partnership Agreement, pay the annual membership dues on time each year, attend the Support Raising Leaders Conference, and attend a public SRS Bootcamp every 18 months.

What if I can’t attend the Support Raising Leaders Conference, can I still be re-certified?

As well as the many benefits mentioned above, attending the SRS Conference is also how we keep SRS Bootcamp Facilitators abreast of new changes and improvements. If scheduling issues arise that prevents you as a Facilitator from coming, you will need to attend a public SRS Bootcamp before you host your next in-house Bootcamp and within 4 months after the Support Raising Leaders Conference that year (regardless if they recently attended a public SRS Bootcamp for recertification) to receive updated Bootcamp materials and become familiar with any changes that were made.

Can I order or make copies of SRS Bootcamp materials for my own custom training that is not an official SRS Bootcamp?

No. SRS Bootcamp materials can only be used in official SRS Bootcamps lead by a trained and certified SRS Bootcamp Facilitator. Some Christian ministries struggle with honoring copyrights and intellectual property because they feel we are all working together for the Kingdom. But after much counsel from other ministries, our board, and our own experience, we ask that all groups honor the copyrights of our materials.

If I prefer to share the SRS Bootcamp facilitation or speaking with someone else, when does that person need to become a certified SRS Facilitator and pay the $750 membership fee?

While you will probably have some veteran staff participants give stories and Q&A, we require that a SRS trained and certified facilitator be the one walking through the Bootcamp sessions. If you’d like to have a second facilitator or tag-team with someone, we require them to attend an SRS Facilitator Training and pay the $750 annual membership fee for the additional trainer.

Does our in-house Bootcamp have to be two days long?

It can be more, but should not be less than two days. We’ve gone through the Bootcamp with groups from 8 to 80, and the group of 8 only saves you under an hour. Some organizations spread the Bootcamp out to 3 days.

Why do our staff have to register on the SRS website for our in-house SRS Bootcamps?

Their registration will cover the cost of their participant workbook and personal Bootcamp materials we ship to your in-house Bootcamps. Also, when your staff registers, we ensure that they receive their login credentials for the online preparation course SRS Foundations and we ensure that you have access to monitor your staff’s progress. Lastly, when your staff registers through our website, SRS is able to have more accountability with our partner organizations, so that we know how many people are attending the SRS Bootcamps, and our staff and personal donors can know their efforts are bearing fruit.

Can we customize our SRS Bootcamps?

You can add sessions or handouts and supplement our SRS Bootcamp training based upon your ministry’s needs. But we do ask that you do not change any sessions or materials in the participant’s notebook, PowerPoint, or materials to protect the integrity of the product and copyrights. We have worked for over 15 years building the reputation for the SRS Bootcamp, and people know what they are getting. The ministry community is very interconnected with pastors, mission committees, and ministry workers knowing about SRS Bootcamps, so we want to ensure that the SRS Bootcamp held at one ministry is the same as in another.

Can we continue using SRS Bootcamp materials if our ministry no longer has a certified SRS Facilitator?

No, only certified SRS Bootcamp Facilitators can order or use SRS Bootcamp materials.

Do our additional in-house SRS Bootcamp Facilitators have to be living on support?

Yes, to become certified as an SRS Bootcamp Facilitator, you must be living and ministering on personal support from face-to-face asks. While the SRS Bootcamp requires only a trained Facilitator and not an expert trainer, we want to ensure the Facilitator is modeling what he/she is asking others to do. This includes organizations’ additional Facilitators (Secondary Facilitators).

Can I invite people from other ministries to our in-house Bootcamp?

No. We will continue to have SRS Bootcamps each month open to the public for ministries that do not have their own certified SRS Facilitator.

As a certified SRS Facilitator who usually host in-house SRS Bootcamps, can I send staff to the public SRS Bootcamps for $125 instead of $399?

No, any staff attending a public SRS Bootcamp pays the same price as anyone else. If you host a public SRS Bootcamp and your staff is attending, we will set up your registration for your staff with the discount, however you will be responsible for paying the cost per head for their food, snacks, and beverages.

As a certified SRS Facilitator, can I host an in-house Bootcamp with staff members from another organization who also has a certified SRS Facilitator?

Yes, as long as both Facilitators from each organization are co-facilitating the Bootcamp. Each organization will still fill out their Bootcamp set up form and have separate registration pages for their staff members. This is the only exception to training anyone outside your organization. Some organizations want to work with other organizations (both in which have trained/certified Facilitators) to create a larger group feel to their Bootcamps. If it is your intention on running a duel in-house Bootcamp (with another organization) please notify BEFORE filling out your Bootcamp Setup request forms.
