More than 360 leaders from 16 countries representing 130 Great Commission ministries gathered October 15-18, 2019 for the Support Raising Leaders Conference to champion biblical fundraising and empower their organizations. These support raising coaches, trainers, personnel directors, and executives gained best practices, discussed common challenges, shared tools and resources, and developed peer relationships with other like-minded ministries.
Personal support raising is one of the greatest mobilization strategies God ever invented—intimately involving believers from around the world in building up the Kingdom of God. The excitement and power of that idea was kicked off by our founder, Steve Shadrach, along with Mary Ho, International Director of All Nations. The whole week was permeated with the theme of “Mobilize More: more prayer, more partners, more praise” all for the glory of God.
A huge felt need that drove roundtables, discussions, panels, and workshops was support raising among minority communities and in non-Western countries. The urgency to do more in these areas was palpable, but so were testimonies of such hope and vision — that people of all colors, cultures, and countries are called to give, participate in sending, and receive the blessings in partnering with God’s Kingdom work. While challenges do exist, biblical principles of partnership development apply universally, and God is glorified through our faithfulness and dependence upon Him.
This is the third conference hosted by Support Raising Solutions and the Center for Mission Mobilization, with more and more ministries bringing their leadership teams for professional development and collaboration in this critical area of ministry. The next conference will be in Orlando, April 26-28, 2021. Thank you for your prayers and participation in what God is doing through this conference.
